Teddy is walking on his four legs again.

Teddy Now

Teddy, a six-year-old stray dog, was hit by a speeding car in Delhi in October, last year. The accident not only broke his pelvic bone, but it also led to a debilitating spinal injury that left him paralysed. The rescuers were advised to euthanize him. After one month of intensive and focused therapy, Teddy started limping on his three legs. Today he is back on his fours; if you happen to visit our facility, he will be the first one to run and greet you with a cheerful doggie smile.

Mishti forgot her handicap.

Mishti Playing with water

Mishti met with an accident in a busy west-Delhi road and fractured her right front-limb. After a few months, when the fracture got healed, she had a tumour near her ribs. We had to surgically remove the tumour. But Mishti never let her illness affect her playful nature. Today, in the safe and secured environment of the Shelter, Mishti is always found running and playing all over the premises.
