Every day at our Dog Rehabilitation Center is a day full of love, healing, and little miracles. We’re always happy to welcome kind-hearted people who wish to spend time with our furry residents and make a difference in their lives. Here’s a glimpse of some of the special moments and events we’ve shared since April 1, 2025..
Bolt’s birthday became a celebration of love and kindness. Bolt's rescuers, Shireen and her mother, filled the shelter with gifts, food, smiles, and a big doggie cake for Bolt and his shelter siblings. Their generosity touched every heart. Our heartfelt thanks for making this day unforgettable and so full of joy.
Sheero and Chhangu fought a brave battle for life after being diagnosed with malignant, life-threatening tumors. Two critical surgeries turned fear into hope. With timely medical care and endless compassion, both recovered fully. Today, they are healthy, joyful, and living proof that love, dedication, and timely treatment can save lives.
Like every year, this year too, Diwali was celebrated at our center in a peaceful and eco-friendly way, without firecrackers. The entire premises was beautifully decorated with diyas and rangoli, and our dogs enjoyed a special festive meal at night. We prayed to the Almighty for compassion towards all living beings to flourish in every heart.
Like every year, we once again ensured that all eligible dogs at our shelter were vaccinated against the deadly rabies virus under the supervision of a registered veterinarian. Regular vaccination drives are an essential part of our health program, as keeping our furry family safe, healthy, and protected from infectious diseases remains our highest priority.
We were truly delighted to have the Samarpan Foundation celebrate their Foundation Day with our dogs at our shelter. Their wonderful initiative to nurture compassion for animals and nature among children is deeply inspiring. The world needs more organizations like Samarpan Foundation, working selflessly to protect our planet and spread kindness.
We love it when kind-hearted people choose to celebrate their special days with our furry residents. Rishika, a young and compassionate animal lover, visited our center to celebrate her birthday. She brought toys, treats, and food for the dogs and spent joyful moments playing with them. We wish Rishika a very happy birthday filled with love, blessings, and happiness.
It is heartening to see corporates embracing animal welfare as part of their social responsibility. The CSR team from Procloz Services Private Limited visited our shelter, extending a compassionate gesture of support. The company made a generous donation towards our initiatives and spent quality time with our dogs, sharing love and joyful companionship.
After completing the renovation project of our shelter, we expressed our gratitude to the Almighty by organizing a pooja and hawan at the Rehabilitation Center. The ceremony was entirely cruelty-free, as we consciously avoided the use of all animal-derived products, including milk and ghee, in keeping with our compassionate values.
Some dogs have dense or matted coats that require routine grooming and maintenance to prevent dermatological complications. In certain cases, even weekly medicated baths are insufficient to maintain optimal skin and coat health. During the summer season, these dogs undergo annual trimming or clipping to minimize discomfort and reduce the risk of skin infections.
Five students from Class Eleven of Suncity School, Gurgaon, visited our Rehabilitation Center with hearts full of love and kindness. Calling themselves “Woof It Up,” they collected food donations and fed our furry residents. We wholeheartedly thank their teachers and parents for nurturing such compassion and empathy towards animals and nature.
We are delighted to share that the renovation project of our shelter has finally been completed. This achievement would not have been possible without the generosity and support of our well-wishers, donors, and volunteers. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each one of them for helping us create a safer and more comfortable home for our dogs.
